Do science and faith conflict with each other?

This is a journal posting by a highly renowned Stanford neuroscientist who also considers himself a strong Christian. From personal experience, Christians as scientists are definitely a huge minority, at least at Stanford. His claim is that science and faith do not have to be in conflict with one another.
