The Car that Makes its Own Fuel
I am starting to think that the Israeli's are about as tech savy as the Koreans given a chance! I'd be all about a hydrogen car that provided it's "own fuel". However you'd have to know that the industry would decide that they would have to charge you something like $300 for the replacement metals that run the system. Even if it only cost 50 cents to make. (Something has to replace all that oil money!)

Hmmmm, I'm missing something in the chemical equation...oh well. I really like that they use solar power to generation the H (the problem up till now is that it still takes fossil fuels to create hydrogen, even for hydrogen cars), however, what about places like Seattle? Is there enough solar energy available to heat the steam? It doesn't say much about the heating/solar process...
I'm sure you can probably just light a fire under it as well...

There's enough solar power in Seattle for solar cells on houses to work... countries in Europe with similar climates to ours (ie Denmark) are hugely solar efficient in their building
Lisa's right - I just recently read a (hard copy) letter in OnEarth that said the same thing. Seattle may not be overcome with sunshine, but we actually get an amazing amount of energy through those clouds.
